Location

Arriving by train

The WIVW is about 10 km from the railway station Würzburg and can be reached best by taxi.

For public transportation, please visit the electronic timetable and enter "Würzburg", stop "Busbahnhof" (bus station) as starting place and "Veitshöchheim", stop "Benzstraße" or “Wolfstalstraße” as destination. The bus station is located near the central station. Please note that the electronic timetable does not always contain the latest schedule changes.

The current schedule data are provided in PDF-format at the WVV-website. To find the appropriate schedule, please enter in "stop, starting point or destination" "Busbahnhof”, and as "seeking" line 19 (stop: "Benzstraße" or "Wolfstalstraße").

Arriving by car

Coming from Frankfurt/Aschaffenburg (A3) take the exit "Helmstadt/Würzburg". Follow the road to Würzburg (B27). After the suburb Höchberg the street forks into the road to Würzburg "Nord" (left) and "Süd" (right). Follow the road signs to Würzburg "Nord" on the B8/B27. Go straight ahead and follow the road to Fulda/Karlstadt (B27). After crossing the bridge turn left keeping the left lane (B27 to Fulda/Karlstadt). Take the exit "Veitshöchheim-Ortsmitte". At the end of the exit turn right (uphill) to "Güntersleben". Leave the next roundabout at the first exit to the right and go left at the first crossroad. After about 300 m you will find our department on the left.

Coming from Nürnberg (A3) take the exit "Rottendorf" and follow the road to Würzburg (B8). In Würzburg take "Stadtring Nord " (right lane) and follow the B27 to Karlstadt/Fulda (left lane). Take the exit "Veitshöchheim-Ortsmitte". At the end of the exit turn right (uphill) to "Güntersleben". Leave the next roundabout at the first exit to the right and go left at the first crossroad. After about 300 m you will find our department on the left.

Coming from Kassel/Fulda (A7/E45) take the exit "Estenfeld" and follow the road to Würzburg (B 19). After 6 km take "Stadtring Nord" (right lane after a big crossroad). After 3,2 km follow the B27 to Karlstadt/Fulda (left lane). Take the exit "Veitshöchheim-Ortsmitte". At the end of the exit turn right (uphill) to "Güntersleben". Leave the next roundabout at the first exit to the right and go left at the first crossroad. After about 300 m you will find our department on the left.

Coming from Stuttgart (A81) change to the A3 to Würzburg and take the exit "Kist". Follow the road to Würzburg (B27). After the suburb Höchberg the street forks into the road to Würzburg "Nord" (left) and "Süd" (right). Follow the road signs to Würzburg "Nord" on the B8/B27. Go straight ahead and follow the road to Fulda/Karlstadt (B27). After crossing the bridge turn left keeping the left lane (B27 to Fulda/Karlstadt). Take the exit "Veitshöchheim-Ortsmitte". At the end of the exit turn right (uphill) to "Güntersleben". Leave the next roundabout at the first exit to the right and go left at the first crossroad. Coming from Ulm (A7/E45) change at Biebelried to the A3 to Frankfurt/Würzburg/Nürnberg. Take the exit "Rottendorf" and follow the road to Würzburg (B8). In Würzburg take "Stadtring Nord" (right lane) and follow the B27 to Karlstadt/Fulda (left lane). Take the exit "Veitshöchheim-Ortsmitte". To get to the office building at Schleehofstraße 12, simply keep going (pass by the main office) until the Raiffeisenstraße merges into Robert-Bosch-Straße. Coming from the Raiffeisenstr./Robert-Bosch-Str. follow the road and turn left. Follow the road until it crosses Schleehofstraße. You can park on the parking lot in front of the building.
